Because of Corona Virus pandemic, the first lockdown was done on 24 March with the 14 Day lockdown.But with the large spread of COVID-19,the lockdown was extended till 3 May.
But there is a question that will Lockdown be extend after 3 MAY?
In India, the CoronaVirus pandemic or COVID-19 the total cases are around 26000+ and there is no confirmation for this question but having more chances of extending Lockdown .
States like Delhi,Maharashtra and Gujarat having a large number of cases so there is little chance of not having LOCKDOWN.
There is almost 1000+ cases per day in India and COVID-19 is out of control.There will be meeting before 3 May where the decision would be taken whether LOCKDOWN extened or not.
The six states which are ready to extend the Lockdown are Delhi,Maharashtra,Punjab,Madhya Pradesh,West Bengal and Odisha which pretended to extend lockdown in their hotspot areas.
These states pretended to extend the lockdown till 16 May where Telangana had extended the lockdown till 7 May.
As per the report, there will be meeting held between the Cheif Ministers and Prime Minister where the financial help and other decision would be taken.There will be more chances of extending the lockdown till 16 May.
